Tactical On / Off-Road Driving — CUSTOMIZABLE*
Mobile Force Protection (MFP)
Reacting to threats against personnel and material in transit in high-risk environments

Mobile Force Protection Course (MFP) equips personnel with the critical skills needed to enhance mission success and survivability in today’s asymmetrical and highly mobile operational environments. This course develops and refines mounted operations techniques, including tactical driving, vehicle crew coordination, and multivehicle tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) in both rural and urban settings.
The course begins with a refresher in tactical marksmanship to ensure proficiency in critical engagement skills for mounted forces. Operators then progress to tactical driving in high-risk environments, focusing on identifying, avoiding, and reacting to threats while transporting passengers and assets safely.
Training includes real-world scenarios such as ambush avoidance, contact drills, and techniques to “get off the X” under fire. Participants also develop operational-level skills to respond predictably and effectively to mounted contacts during vehicle transit. Emphasis is placed on team-based vehicle maneuvers, coordination during convoy operations, and crew response under stress.
The program concludes with immersive practical exercises, featuring live-fire and Simunition scenarios conducted during day and night operations, preparing teams for the realities of combat theaters.
