Confined Space | Collapsed Structure Trainer
19,800 cubic feet. Subterranean tunnel to elevated overwatch. VBSS integration.

Your team trains the full vertical problem — underground, ground level, and elevated — on one structure.
The Confined Space/Collapsed Structure Trainer is 19,800 cubic feet of multi-level operational space designed from over two decades of actual combat operations. Multiple openings — above and below 36 inches, elevated and ground-level, horizontal and vertical — force operators to adapt entry techniques to the environment rather than rely on a single approach. Some locations have obstructions. Some don’t. Smoke, light, and noise effects replicate degraded conditions inside damaged or contested structures. Multiple small teams operate simultaneously in scenarios that replicate domestic disaster response and combat urban environments.
One and a half buried containers beneath the visible structures add subterranean training — below-grade, low-visibility environments that replicate tunnel systems and collapsed basements. A 36-inch-wide, 45-yard-long tunnel extends to Hogan’s Alley with a vertical instructor shaft at the midpoint and a surface-level emergency access point midway through for safety. Additional container structures support Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) training integration.
The structure doubles as an elevated shooting platform for Range 3 (Steel Monster) and Range 4 (Hogan’s Alley), and provides overwatch positions into the Urban Combat Compound and the 30-acre MOUT complex. Adjacent to the 5-Story Tower — three simultaneous sniper positions are supported across the CS/CS Trainer, the tower, and the sniper hides. The High-Angle Rescue and breaching courses integrate this facility for confined space entry and technical rescue scenarios.
