Rogers Range (RR) delivers five days of intensive reactive shooting built on the methodology developed by Bill Rogers — former FBI agent, competitive shooter, and tactical team master firearms instructor. A 2-day add-on module is available for units combining Rogers Range with other T1G courses. T1G’s instructor cadre completed Bill Rogers’ instructor development course under Rogers himself. The program runs under Sid Jordan, T1G’s Director of Weapons & Tactics — one of eight shooters worldwide to clear a perfect 125 on the Rogers course of fire. He’s done it twice. So has Bill Rogers.

The methodology is the standard across the SOF community because it trains what operational shootings actually demand: economy of motion in the draw, subconscious response to partial targets, and follow-through until the threat stops. Computer-controlled pneumatic operation across eight lanes presents seven AR550 steel targets at 7–20 yards with exposure windows of .5 to .75 seconds. Targets are reactive — peripheral hits and fragments do not stop them. Pistol is primary, with optional carbine and shotgun integration. Nine courses of fire push shooters past their current threshold, and half the curriculum runs one-handed — because the weapon was designed as a handgun, not a hands gun, and operational reality confirms it.

Training runs on T1G’s dedicated Rogers Range facility — eight lanes of AR550 steel under computer control, purpose-built for this methodology. The .5–.75 second exposure window is roughly half the average precision shooter’s reaction time from a security holster, which is the point — every rep forces faster acquisition, faster discrimination, and faster trigger until the response moves from conscious processing to trained reflex. Operators leave with measurable improvement in close-quarters engagement speed and accuracy. Teams building a broader marksmanship package combine Rogers Range with Advanced Marksmanship for barricade and low-light work, or integrate it into a CQB training event where Rogers Range sessions reinforce the marksmanship feeding structure work.

T1G can customize a multidiscipline event that supports your operational tempo and requirements. Integrated courses help to maximize your training effort and meet budget considerations. Let’s talk about it.
