Range 1

Rogers Range

8-Lane | Seven AR550 Targets ➞ 7-20 yards

T1G logo

Eight-inch steel. Sub-second exposure. Nine courses of fire.

Rogers Range is T1G’s most popular range. Eight lanes, each presenting seven AR550 targets at 7 to 20 yards — computer-controlled pneumatic operation with 8″ steel targets exposed for 0.5 to 0.75 seconds. Nine primary courses of fire push speed, accuracy, and target discrimination under time pressure. The targets are reactive by design: peripheral hits and fragments do not stop them. Shooters must place effective hits to neutralize — building the “follow through” discipline that translates directly to shoot house and CQB performance.

Shooters measurably improve confidence and success in rapid, accurate, and discretionary firing scenarios across a single training day. Pistol, carbine, and shotgun. M-4 with 9mm conversion kits available. Rogers Range is the foundational marksmanship platform — units typically start here before progressing to Range 2 for reactionary rifle work, the SOF Skills Complex for competition, or directly into shoot house iterations. The Rogers Range Course and Tactical-Combat Marksmanship course run here.

Targetry & Power Redundancy ➞ Ranges 1-4

always training | never waiting

Air Compressor System:

Five networked compressors across three locations — all five support all four ranges. If one goes down, the others pick up the load without interrupting training. Reserve storage tanks on R1 and R4 maintain operation during power transitions.

  • R1 Compressor Shed: 2 compressors (primary and secondary)
  • R3 Compressor Shed: 1 compressor
  • R4: 2 compressors

Electrical Power System:

Triple-redundant power across the range complex. Primary electrical feeds all systems. A primary backup generator kicks in automatically. A secondary backup generator provides hook-up capability for extended operations. R4 adds individual control over every lane and every target — isolate a problem without shutting down adjacent lanes. One target down doesn’t stop the course of fire.

  • Primary: Main electrical power
  • Secondary: Primary backup generator
  • Tertiary: Secondary backup generator (hook-up capability)
