High-Risk Driver

High-Risk Driver Course (HRD) training prepares operators for the mobility demands of deploying to high-risk theaters worldwide. The course covers paved, unpaved, and off-road driving using both left- and right-hand-drive vehicles in manual and automatic transmissions — the platforms operators encounter in North Africa, the Middle East, Central and South America, and Asia-Pacific. Training progresses from vehicle dynamics and defensive driving through offensive maneuvers, vehicle recovery, and high-stress threat response. Day and night scenarios ensure operators perform in all conditions. T1G builds HRD packages around deployment profiles and operational requirements. 

Operators train evasive driving, attack recognition, roadblock and checkpoint procedures, counter-force off drills, bail-out and push-out techniques, damaged vehicle drills, and wounded crewman procedures. Multi-vehicle operations progress from convoy formations through counter-ambush drills using disposable contact vehicles. Recovery training covers independent and multi-vehicle assisted techniques — flat tows, snatches, high-centered vehicles, and rollovers using straps, winches, high-lift jacks, and field-expedient repairs. All driving runs on T1G’s WPS-certified paved track, unimproved roads course, and off-road obstacles. Mounted live-fire and Simunitions exercises integrate tactical marksmanship into the driving curriculum. T1G’s backside support team stages vehicles, resets courses, and manages equipment between iterations.
