SIMS CQB House

The SIMS CQB House is a 5,000 sq ft fully enclosed shoot house in Building #5 with eight exterior access points using variable-tension door closures. The interior reconfigures for hundreds of unique training scenarios using 20+ SIMS target stands. Advanced lighting systems — tactical strobes, special effects, and complete light control — enable realistic NVG operations during daylight hours. An exhaust fan system clears the space rapidly after flashbang deployment. Backup generator power ensures uninterrupted training regardless of conditions.

The SIMS House serves as the preparation pipeline for the 2-Story SIMS Embassy — teams build and validate TTPs here before progressing to the Embassy’s 24 rooms and 40 doors. It also integrates into broader CQB training packages alongside the ballistic shoot houses and the MOUT complex. A dedicated team planning area with projector supports pre-operation briefings and AARs without leaving the building. The CQB/CQC and Advanced Urban Combat courses use this facility.
