East Wadi | Sandpit
13 acres of Mississippi River sand. 24/7. Zero restrictions.

Reserved for vehicle recovery, off-road driving, and maneuvers
The East Wadi is 13 acres of fine Mississippi River sand — the kind that swallows vehicles without warning. It exists for one reason: to put drivers and recovery teams in conditions where textbook techniques fail and adaptation is the only option. Off-road technical driving, vehicle recovery, bogging and extraction, and maneuver training run here around the clock with zero noise or fire restrictions. Firearms, explosives, and vehicle hulks are restricted to maintain the surface as a dedicated driving and movement environment.
The Wadi sits adjacent to Hogan’s Alley (Range 4) with a helicopter landing zone nearby — supporting full mission profile scenarios that combine off-road movement, mounted operations, and air extraction. It abuts the east end of the 2-mile Unimproved Roads Track, creating a continuous off-road training corridor from graded surfaces into unimproved sand. The Off-Road Driver I, Off-Road II, and Off-Road III courses use this environment. Pair with the paved track and engineered obstacles for a complete driving package.
