The 10-acre Live-Fire Wadi is T1G’s multi-domain training environment — positioned between the Urban Combat Compound, the MOUT complex, the sniper hides, and the adjacent HLZ/DZ. Natural terrain with concealment, elevation changes, and open ground. This is where T1G integrates UAS operations into traditional combat disciplines — kinetic effects validation, drone-delivered payloads, FPV attack scenarios, counter-UAS training, and drone-supported casualty evacuation all run here alongside ground force maneuver.

UAS/Drone Integration

Kinetic effects validation for drone-delivered payloads in a controlled environment. Battle damage assessment training using UAS overwatch during live-fire. FPV drone attack scenarios integrated with ground force maneuvers. Counter-UAS training in complex terrain with natural concealment. IED/explosive detection using aerial reconnaissance. Medical + UAS Integration

Teams coordinate drone-supported casualty location and extraction. UAS provides overwatch during medical evacuation under fire. Thermal imaging drones assist in locating casualties in complex terrain. The Extended/Prolonged Field Care and Advanced Combat Medic courses integrate with the adjacent UW Clinic and H-60 CASEVAC Trainer.

Weapons & Tactics + Drone Operations

FPV drone reconnaissance integrated with live-fire maneuvers. Counter-drone tactics practiced in realistic combat scenarios. Kinetic drone effects coordinated with traditional fire support. The CQB and AUC courses use the Wadi for scenarios that combine ground-element clearing with UAS overwatch.
