Emergency Vehicle Operators Course

Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) is an intensive training program designed to enhance the skills of professionals operating in high-risk and emergency environments. This course focuses on personal force protection, mobility, vehicle dynamics, recovery techniques, and defensive and offensive driving maneuvers necessary for safe and effective emergency response. Participants train in highly trafficked rural and urban environments, on both paved and unpaved roads. The curriculum includes skid control, high-speed evasive maneuvers, and tactical driving under simulated emergency conditions. Day and night driving scenarios are incorporated to ensure operators perform in all lighting conditions.

EVOC training at T1G progresses from platform-specific vehicle operation and vehicle dynamics through threat recognition, evasive maneuvers, and multivehicle close-proximity driving — then into roadblocks, down-vehicle drills, bail-out procedures, and vehicle recovery and commandeering. Scenarios run day and night on T1G’s WPS-certified paved track and unimproved roads course, with static and mobile live-fire exercises integrated throughout. The program is customizable for law enforcement, fire, EMS, and military units. Teams that need advanced pursuit intervention and PIT techniques or Basic Law Enforcement Driving train on the same infrastructure under the same cadre.
