SOF Explosive Entry I
Mechanical, ballistic, and explosive breaching fundamentals. 5-day intensive.

SOF Explosive Entry I (SOF EE I) is an intensive five-day training program designed to equip operators with the critical skills and confidence needed for safe and effective mechanical, ballistic, and explosive breaching. Operators build proficiency across three primary methods of entry — mechanical, ballistic, and explosive — from first principles through live charge deployment in five days. This course emphasizes safety, precision, and tactical efficiency, covering ballistic breaching weapon safety, selection, and implementation; mechanical breaching tool use for safe and effective entry; explosives handling definitions, classifications, characteristics, hazards, and priming; and explosive breaching charge calculations, construction, and deployment.
SOF EE I training progresses from explosives familiarization and priming systems through charge calculations, minimum safe distance calculations, target analysis, and firing train design and construction — then into live breaching iterations on internal and external door charges with entry, misfire, and failed breach procedures. All breaching runs on T1G’s purpose-built breaching facilities — dual breach houses with BATF-approved day box, charge preparation classroom, and door facades with swappable target inserts that reset in under a minute. Operators who complete EE I progress to Explosive Entry II for advanced charge construction, wall charges, and simultaneous entry TTPs.
T1G can customize a multidiscipline event that supports your operational tempo and requirements. Integrated courses help to maximize your training effort and meet budget considerations. Let’s talk about it.
