SOF High Risk Driver (SOF HRD)

A demanding syllabus comprised of mobility, vehicle recovery and defensive & offensive driving (day / night) to both detect and counter terrorist threats while enhancing the individual operator’s abilities to counter the inherent threats of driving and operating while mobile in high risk third world environments.  Focus on driving in high threat theaters on paved, unpaved and off road areas utilizing standard and automatic transmission SUVs. This intense SOF mobility oriented Program of Instruction ensures attending students develop strong capabilities in support of their command’s mission while deployed in high risk theaters of operation. (32-hour course)
